Each year a new composite DTM of the Belgian Continental Shelf (BCS) is created by the Flemish Hydrography in EMODNet ASCII format (EMO) for integration in the EMODnet Bathymetry Data Portal.
This year the resolution of the EMODnet grid in the Data Portal will be increased to 1/16 arc minute.
The CDI metadata of the new SB and MB surveys, which have been used for production of the new composite DTM of the BCS, are sent for inclusion in the SeaDataNet CDI metadata repository.
An example of such a CDI is attached. After testing the CDI XML file in the INSPIRE Geoportal Metadata Validator the average degree of conformity of INSPIRE Metadata is only 23.53%
The download formats of the EMODnet Portal for Bathymetry are EMO ASCII, ESRI ASCII, 32 bit float GeoTiff, RGB GeoTiff, NetCDF, SD and XYZ ASCII.
